DIRECTIONS TO MAINE AQUACULTURE ASSOCIATION OFFICE
FROM THE NORTH:
Coming north on I – 95 take the second Augusta exit (30). There are two parts to this exit take the second part that is the southernmost of the two. This part will take you to Route 100 East and West. Proceed up the ramp and stay to the left. This takes you to Route 100 West. Go over an overpass and down the exit ramp onto Route 100. Cross across all three lanes of Route 100 immediately and take your first left at the traffic light. This will bring you onto Whitten St. Continue on Whitten for approximately 1-2 miles until you come to a stop sign at a T intersection. Turn left onto Winthrop Rd. Stay on Winthrop up over a hill. You will see a number of State offices on your left. Continue down a long hill over a set of railroad tracks. As you approach the bottom of the hill you will see the Hallowell post office on the left hand side. Take a right turn at the post office intersection. This is the last right hand turn before you come to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. As soon as you take the right take an immediate left down into the parking lot. Park at will. If no spaces are available additional parking is available further down the street on the right hand side. From the parking lot in back of 105 water street walk down to the back entrance to the building and walk up four flights of stairs. This entrance has a large sign on the right hand side for the Maine State Public Advocates Office
FROM THE SOUTH:

PARKING:
Parking is rather tight in Hallowell. If you can find a space behind the MAA building that is NOT labeled “Maine OPA Parking Only” then take it. If however you try to park in one of the labeled slots they WILL tow you. Alternatively you can park on the street besides or in back of the MAA building.
